Products differ mainly in degree of over basing, apparent density and particle fineness of powders.<\/p>\n<p>alcium stereate is used as a catalyst neutralizer and\/or lubricant in polypropylenes. Precipitated versions provide finer particle sizes and are used in specialized polypropylene uses such as thin fibers and films.
